Sterling Integrator Managed Services Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Sterling Integrator EDI/B2B Developer for a hybrid role (onsite 3 days per week, remote 2 days) with a client located in the greater Chicago area.
This is a long-term, 9-12-month engagement with potential for extension based on performance and client need. The role focuses on leading EDI production support and development efforts, specifically within an IBM Sterling Integrator environment integrating to an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) back-end system.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide daily support for EDI transactions (Invoices, ASN’s, POA’s) and resolve transmission issues.
- Manage trading partner setup and configuration, including AS2 communication and VAN setup.
- Maintain Oracle EBS Partner Profiles via E-Commerce Gateway.
- Reprocess and troubleshoot failed or rejected documents.
- Perform weekly and monthly audits, of Invoices and other partner transactions.
- Creation and maintenance of new maps, map changes, new partnership onboardings, and testing.
- Maintain EDI gateway and manage AS2 certificate exchanges.
- Utilize and maintain Perl scripts, shell scripts, and related tools to support business processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support purchase order submissions and audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer requests related to data transmission and other EDI related processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- 7+ years of hands-on EDI/B2B experience.
- Experience working with Sterling Integrator.
- Strong experience with IBM Sterling Integrator.
- Experience integrating EDI transactions to Oracle EBS.
- Proficiency in EDI mapping to various other layouts including Flat Files, SQL, XML.
- Proficiency in UNIX environments specifically with Perl and Shell scripting experience is essential.
- Experience with web services (RESTful and SOAP) in a message-based/event-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform GAP analysis and creation of specifications and business requirements.
