EDIHQ Mapping Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with full-time staff to understand the current EDI system to produce matching translations of supply chain based documents.
- Utilize your knowledge and experience with EDI to analyze the existing EDI transactions and create new EDIHQ maps.
- Develop and implement a personal plan of action to efficiently and effectively map assigned EDI transactions to maintain scope and deadlines.
- Test the remapped EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with trading partner specifications.
- Provide training and support to full-time staff to enable them to operate and maintain the new EDIHQ system effectively.
- Document all mapping and system changes in detail to ensure knowledge transfer to the full-time staff and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in EDI involving development, mapping, and support.
- Experience with EDI migration, specifically to EDIHQ by 1EDISource.
- In-depth understanding of EDI standards and transaction sets, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
Work Environment: This is a remote contractor position, so the successful candidate will be expected to have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
