REMEDI Electronic Commerce Group regularly hires the best and brightest EDI / EAI / B2B Data Integration professionals who have a passion for integration work and the drive to back up their passion forged from day in day out hands on experience. 


 


REMEDI currently has an opening for a EDI HQ Developer.  You must have experience working with EDI in the Manufacturing Industry. 




We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced EDI HQ Developer to manage and enhance our electronic data interchange processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML) and tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external trading partners.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage EDI Systems: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI processes using [specific EDI tools like IBM Sterling, EDI HQ, or others].

  • Integration Development: Design and implement mappings and workflows to integrate with ERP, WMS, or other business systems.

  • Trading Partner Onboarding: Establish and maintain EDI connections with new trading partners, ensuring compliance with their requirements.

  • Standard Compliance: Ensure all EDI transactions adhere to industry standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML schemas.

  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve EDI-related issues, including transaction errors, communication failures, and system alerts.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI configurations, workflows, and partner requirements.

  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to internal teams and trading partners on EDI processes and best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.



Required Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in EDI development, support, and implementation.

  • Proficiency with EDI tools and platforms such as EDI HQ.

  • Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP).

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation.

  • Knowledge of database querying (SQL) for data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft).
