Remedi Electronic Commerce Group is helping a client with an Infor M3 CloudSuite EDI integration challenge that requires an experienced consultant for a 6 month engagement. 

The Challenge

Our client, a major player in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, is undergoing a migration from legacy ERP and EDI systems to a modern cloud environment. As part of this transition, the company is implementing Infor M3 CloudSuite Food & Beverage and consolidating all EDI transaction processing onto Orderful, a next-generation cloud-based EDI platform. While much of the trading partner work is underway, the client needs a seasoned EDI integration consultant to step in and help complete the migration effort. The focus of this role is on hands-on mapping modifications, partner coordination, and transaction analysis—this is not a general business analysis position. 

The Work

The client is seeking an EDI Integration Consultant to: 

- Modify and test EDI maps for a range of high-volume X12 transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945)

- Collaborate with internal teams and external trading partners to validate transaction flows

- Coordinate testing cycles and resolve EDI integration issues

- Ensure that EDI data is accurately transformed by Orderful and flows correctly into Infor M3 CloudSuite

- Document mappings, partner specs, and interface behavior to support knowledge transfer 

This role is hands-on and tactical. You'll be working alongside other EDI and ERP professionals as well as trading partners and stakeholders to ensure that EDI transactions are processed reliably during and after go-live.

The Outcome

A successful consultant will complete mapping adjustments, coordinate integration testing, and stabilize EDI workflows between Orderful and Infor M3. Your work will ensure that transactions flow consistently and correctly through the new cloud ERP, enabling smoother business operations post-migration.

The Ideal Consultant

- Extensive hands-on EDI mapping and integration experience

- Familiarity with X12 standards and high-volume transactions in manufacturing or distribution

- Prior exposure to Orderful (or other modern cloud EDI platforms like SPS Commerce, Cleo Integration Cloud, or similar)

- Experience working with Infor M3, Infor LX, or substantially similar ERP systems

- Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation skills

- Ability to coordinate with trading partners and internal IT/ERP stakeholders

- Job Type: Contract - 40 hours per week M-F
